The "Sansha" brand cigarette trademark was registered by Fujian Sheshan Cigarette Factory in 1996, and the ownership belongs to Fujian China Tobacco Industry Co., Ltd. In December 2015, Hainan Hongta Company signed a trademark transfer agreement with Fujian China Tobacco Industry Co., Ltd. After the newly designed "Sansha" brand cigarette trademark was approved, Hainan Hongta Company successively submitted the "Sansha + SANSHA" trademark and "Sansha" overall trademark registration application to the Trademark Office of the State Administration for Industry and Commerce, and it was approved on June 8, 2016. In early June, Hainan Hongta Company completed the research and development task of "Sansha" cigarettes and officially put them into production. On July 1, the product was officially launched.
